BAPW welcomes the DoH announcement on Zero Discounts

The BAPW welcomes the Department of Health's announcement this week on Zero Discounts (ZDs), which now gives the ZD list better rationale and credits the extra handling costs associated with ZD products. We appreciate the Department's consultative process regarding this important issue and are pleased that our key concerns have been taken on board.

The BAPW also recognises that the Department has taken these steps to ensure its decisions are workable and we look forward to continuing to work closely with all healthcare stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe and effective medical supplies for patients.
