BAPW’s inaugural parliamentary reception at the House of Commons

The BAPW held its inaugural parliamentary reception last week in the terrace marquee at the House of Commons. The event was hosted by the House’s only pharmacist, Sandra Gidley MP, and featured an address by the Minister of State for Quality and Patient Safety, Rt Hon Jane Kennedy MP. It was attended by a wide range of the BAPW’s stakeholders, from manufacturers to the Department of Health, all of whom gathered to hear the Minister pay testament to full-line wholesalers and their role in securing the fast, effective and safe delivery of medicines to NHS patients.
